While it is a YMMV I used to use my syringes for a day at a time. I had one
syringe for Humalin and one for regular. Of course
when we didn't have disposable syringes and needles, we "old-timers" used
needles seemed like forever! Some people sharpened
theirs and some, like me, did not!
Again, reusing syringes and needles is a YMMV situation. It really is NOT a
good practice. I always kept mine refrigerated when
I reused them!

Does anyone know the max times a needle can be reused? I am in the transition
period waiting to go back on my pump but am using injections until that point.
My NP said the needles could be resused but did not say how many times. Any
help
would be appreciated.
