RE: [IPr] Deltec CoZmo with CozMonitor
I have had the deltec cozmo and cozmonitor pump and software for about 1.5
years now. There are not very many Doctors / Endocrinologists that have any
pump let alone monitor software for downloading and analyzing our diabetic
related data be it blood sugar levels and/or bolasing and basal rates.
I have run across a few doctors that did have some monitor software, but it
was typically for one monitor manufacturer. Most doctor's are way behind in
pc technology and I have found many to be behind in medical knowledge as
well. I like my Deltec pump and find most pc software that comes with
monitors and pumps are pretty poor and lacking in options and choices in
graphing and reporting the data. I have been a computer programmer for over
25 years, and I am disgusted with the quality and capabilities of the
software I have seen. I wish they would allow us to export our own data and
write our own applications against our data.

I am very much hoping that my new Doctor will be able to use it.
I have had a very frustrating 2 years with my CozMo pump and software
because
my previous Doctor's office and CDE were NOT comfortable with COMPUTERS OR
EMAIL.
Please let me know what your experience was with the Software (Blood Sugar

& Doctor working with it).
