Claire's 13th diabetes anniversary is also coming up next week. Her
day of diagnosis was very close to her birthday and she had to spend
her birthday in hospital that year when she turned 3.
For the first couple of years we thought about the date. Then she
started pumping a day or two before her birthday four years later.
Now that was reason to celebrate! But we don't think about it
anymore.
