RE: [IPp] Memberships / Magazines
Natalie, I belong to the JDRF. They have put me in touch with many
other parents of kids with diabetes. They are also very active in
trying to find a cure. As far as the magazines, I like Countdown. Its
very informative.

Insulin Pumpers is made possible by your tax deductible contributions.
Your donation of $10, $25, or more... just $1 or $2 per month is
needed so that Insulin Pumpers can continue to serve you and the rest
of the diabetes community. Please visit:

Your annual contribution will eliminate this header from your IP mail
I am wondering - how many of you belong to the ADA, how many to the
JDRF, how many to other diabetes-related organizations? What do you
view as the benefits of membership?
Also, which diabetes-related magazine do you like best? I do not have
time (or money) for more than one, and am trying to decide which one
would be best for me. I want a good (non-fluff) magazine with
information about latest research and products as well as tips for
dealing with this beastly disease. I am not so interested in the latest
diet trends, although I am interested in the science of dietetics.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. If this is viewed as not
appropriate for the list, please email me offline at
email @ redacted
Thanks in advance.
