I go to a diabetes retina specialist every year, but this year I'm behind a
few months because I can't figure out how to get myself there. I don't see
well enough to go to unfamiliar territory. I go to Little Rock for the
appt. and thats about 60 miles from me. My Dad usually drives me but this
year his teaching schedule prevents him from doing that for me.
I'm sure I'll figure it out. I have to.
I also see my opthomologist twice a year for everything else.

Good advice, Steve. I have my eyes checked at Joslin annually - with or
without
symptoms. I would not think of having them checked by anyone other than a
diabetes specialist.
