[IP] numb fingers shoulder pain

Why did you have rotator cuff surgery? I ask because several years ago I
passed out at work (low BG) I was alone at 1am working in a machine shop. When
I fell I hit a large metal stand with my shoulder. Ever since I have had
pretty bad pain when trying to throw a baseball with my daughter. Skipping
rocks on the water, sometimes just stretching. My doc recently told me I may
have tendinitis not only in the one shoulder but both. She said my fall
probably aggravated an already existing condition. Probably Diabetes related
was her diagnosis. Is this common amongst us? It occasionally causes me to
reel in pain for the simplest movement. Most of the time I just deal with the
minor discomfort though.

Thanks Paul; I'm older than you by 15 years so I guess the body is wearing
out. I did have surgery for tennis elbow in 1999, but never had any
problems with it since. Had rotator cuff surgery on that shoulder that was
botched in 2006 and then redone beautifully in '08; no problems there since
'08 either. So basically the right side of my body has just given out I
guess... LOL I'll discuss with one of my numerous MDs...

I had CTS surgery on my right hand many years ago it has never bothered me
since. Although occasionally I do feel the tingling, or don't feel the
numbness (LOL) in my pinky and ring finger you speak of. Sometimes I take an
anti-inflamatory and it helps but most of the time I just ignore it and it
passes. Could just be my age, 50, and the elbow is getting wore out. No pain
there either but it is a classic sign of Ulner nerve symptomatics.
